QBE North America has launched a specialty casualty business and named four Berkshire Hathaway Specialty (BHSI) alumni to lead the new unit.

QBE named Karen London as president of the new unit; Mike Foley as chief underwriting officer; Morgan Wichmann as head of casualty non-construction; and Craig Freid as head of casualty construction.
