U.S.-OMAHA-BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY-ANNUAL SHAREHOLDERS MEETING

Berkshire Hathaway shareholders on Saturday voted to reject a proposal made by California Public Employees’ Retirement System (Calpers) to replace Warren Buffett as chairman, according to reports.

Shareholders supported Buffett remaining in the roles of chairman and chief executive, on a nearly six-to-one margin, Reuters said, citing Berkshire’s annual meeting in Omaha, Nebraska.
