New energy-focused MGA and wholesaler Crescent Specialty awaits regulatory approval

While climate change concerns have led several companies in the industry to shy from oil and energy, former Aon Global chief commercial officer Bill Farnan has launched Crescent Specialty insurance, an energy-focused MGA and wholesale business that will serve oil, natural gas and other US energy clients.

“All of us have seen the huge uptick in oil and gas prices,” said Farnan, who is serving as Crescent’s CEO, in an interview with Inside P&C.
