Root director Elliot Geidt has stepped down from the auto InsurTech’s board, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing.

The executive also resigned from the board’s audit, risk and finance committee, effective immediately.

Geidt, the current managing director of VC firm Redpoint Ventures, had been a member of the firm’s board since 2018.
