While conditions are expected to improve in other areas of the commercial market, 76% of underwriters surveyed in a recent study by Woodruff Sawyer anticipate that cyber coverage will contract in 2022.

“If 2021 was the year of rate increases, 2022 will be the year of coverage restrictions – and more rate increases,” Woodruff said.
