McGriff and Alliant square off in Arkansas poaching case

Alliant last week opposed a preliminary injunction request filed by its rival broker McGriff as part of a legal dispute over a Fayetteville, Arkansas-based team lift between the two intermediaries.

On 26 April, McGriff filed a complaint against Alliant, alleging that former employers had violated certain non-solicitation provisions in their employment agreements after they moved to the rival broker and began to solicit certain clients.
