InsurTech Pie CEO John Swigart has said that the company is still “strongly capitalized” after raising its Series C round in March, and that it will look to explore future fundraising in the private markets only.

The executive’s comments follow a January report by this publication, which revealed that the workers’ compensation InsurTech had halted work on an IPO amid turmoil in the equity markets.
