Travelers shareholders reject policy regarding fossil-fuel supplies

Travelers shareholders have rejected Green Century Capital Management’s proposal that the carrier adopt green policies that would ensure it provides no cover for new fossil fuel supplies.

According to an 8-K document released after the company’s annual shareholder meeting on May 25, around 80% of shareholders voted against the policy, which had been the board’s recommendation.
