NFP has signed former Markel vice president Emily Horsman as senior vice president and head of Canadian national broking, reporting to Mark Wiens, head of commercial insurance for NFP in Canada.

Horsman will lead efforts in building NFP’s platform in Canada, concentrating on the firm’s mid-market P&C business. She will also collaborate closely with NFP’s US broking offices and lead carrier relations in Canada.
