Nearly all business lines grew average premium renewal rates in May 2022 compared to the same month last year, the Ivans Index showed.

Workers’ comp was the only line where rates did not rise.

Month-on-month, renewal rates in May compared to April 2022 spiked for business owners’ policy (BOP), general liability, commercial property and workers’ compensation.
