Insurance education provider The Institutes has appointed Truist CEO John Howard and WR Berkley (WRB) president and CEO Rob Berkley as chair and vice chair of its board of trustees, respectively.

Both executives assumed their roles on June 15.

Howard replaces Marita Zuraitis, president and CEO of Horace Mann, who led the board since 2020.
