Next Insurance reduces staff by 17% as InsurTech layoffs perpetuate

Next Insurance has terminated around 17% of its workforce, according to social media reports, becoming the latest InsurTech to rein in expenses by scaling back headcount.

In an internal memo, co-founder and CEO Guy Goldstein said "worsening economic conditions", "focus on profitability for long term stability" and "managing costs" were the three main factors that contributed to the decision.
