The Hanover Insurance Group has named Elizabeth Ward, CFO of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance, to its board of directors and audit committee, effective immediately.

The industry veteran of 36 years has served in her current role at Massachusetts Mutual since June 2016. Prior to that, she was the company’s executive vice president and chief enterprise risk officer.
