Enstar reported annualised run-off liability earnings of 3.7% in the first half of the year, an improvement of 1.2 points on the prior-year period, despite the emergence of stress elsewhere in the legacy market.

The carrier reported a net loss of $493mn the second quarter of 2022, compared to a net profit of $378mn in the prior-year period.
