Insurance broker CAC Specialty has recruited Scott Smith as vice president for its private equity practice based in Denver, Colorado.

The executive joins CAC from intermediary USI Insurance Services, where he was vice president for a year. Before that, the executive co-founded the Denver-based platform FlightLink, where he worked for four years.
