Commercial P&C prices up 6.1% in Q2: CIAB

Average commercial P&C pricing in Q2 increased by less than one point to 6.1%, compared with Q1’s 5.7%, but continued an overall pattern of deceleration compared with 2020-21, according to the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB).

The organization reported signs of pricing moderation in several lines of business including flood, medical malpractice and surety bonds.
