Lockton has hired veteran tax attorney John Rayis as senior strategic adviser for its tax practice within its transactional liability (TL) unit.

Rayis joins the family-owned broker after over 25 years at Skadden, Arps Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he served as tax partner and adviser.
