Cyber claims severity dips 8%, frequency falls 7% YoY in H1 2022: Coalition

Cyber InsurTech Coalition said its policyholders saw a slight decrease in both the severity and frequency of cyber claims in the first half of the year, according to its 2022 mid-year cyber claims report.

According to the report, ransomware demands have also decreased as more companies refuse to pay. Meanwhile, Coalition found that the biggest risk remains employees who respond to phishing attacks.
