The US Treasury Department’s Federal Insurance Office (FIO) today issued a proposed data collection from P&C insurers to assess climate-related financial risk stateside.

In a statement, FIO said it is seeking public input on the proposed data collection from insurers regarding current and historical underwriting data on homeowners’ insurance.
