Activist investor Ron Bobman said in a letter to shareholders that Argo has mismanaged its proposed sale process through a “piecemeal approach”, which is both “complex and overly time-consuming”.

Argo has sold parts of the business in recent months, including its units in Italy, Brazil and Malta, as well as its Lloyd’s syndicate operations.
