Activist investor Capital Returns is seeking support to elect its nominees, Ron Bobman and David Michaelson, to serve on Argo’s board of directors, replacing Al-Noor Ramji and Bernard Bailey, according to a proxy statement.

The recommendation came as the specialty insurer is set to hold its annual meeting with shareholders on December 15, after it was initially delayed.
