ProAssurance reported a 1.3-point increase in its Q3 combined ratio to 107.9%, driven by its portfolio cell reinsurance and Lloyd's Syndicates segments compared to the third quarter of 2021.

The deterioration of combined ratios in those segments was offset by the improved results in the company's workers' compensation segment.
