AIG president and CEO Peter Zaffino is to be paid a one-off grant of $50mn in restricted stock units at the end of his new five-year contract.

On Friday, AIG confirmed Zaffino will remain in post until at least 10 November 2027, which will mark more than a decade with the US carrier.
