Allstate brand auto rates increased 14% across 15 locations in North America in October, the carrier reported, which resulted in a total brand insurance premium impact of 1.3%.

The implemented price hikes added to $307mn in new premium last month, driving the year-to-date rates implementation to $2.9bn.
