WTW has predicted that cyber rate increases will moderate to 25% to flat in Q4 2022, amid increased competition from cyber underwriters eager to write new business in the class, according to the broker’s latest report.

The prediction marks a decline from the broker’s Q3 2022 figure of 25%-50% rate increases, as broader market conditions for cyber have improved since the peak of the hard market in Q3 2020.
