AM Best has revised AIG’s long-term issuer credit ratings (ICR) outlook to positive, while the insurer’s financial strength rating (FSR) outlook remained stable.

The agency reaffirmed AIG and its P&C subsidiaries’ FSR rating of A and ICR of a, citing the group’s balance sheet strength, favorable business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management.
