Berkshire Hathaway drops IAG shareholding deal

Berkshire Hathaway has ended a strategic shareholding deal with Insurance Australia Group (IAG) that will allow the investment giant to sell its A$465mn ($321mn) holding in the carrier.

Berkshire Hathaway struck the initial shareholding deal with IAG in 2015, at which point the A$500mn placement secured it a 3.7%
