The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (Twia) has directed its broker Gallagher Re to source a $2.92bn reinsurance program.

Twia has also voted in favor of establishing a $4.45bn one-in-100 probable maximum loss (PML) for the 2023 storm season which, along with its statutory funding, brings its total funding for 2023 to $5.2bn.
