Aspen has appointed former Canopius CUO Mike Duffy as a senior non-executive director on the boards for Aspen Managing Agency and Aspen Insurance UK, effective as of February 1.

He will also chair the nominations committee and the governance committee.

Duffy spent 17 years at Canopius, his departure from which was announced in May last year.
