Lemonade targets long-term loss ratio under 75% as rate filings rise: CFO Bixby

Lemonade CFO Tim Bixby said the personal lines InsurTech is targeting a loss ratio under 75% in the long term, as the company diversifies its portfolio and pivots away from a monoline strategy.

The commentary comes after the InsurTech posted yesterday a Q4 89% gross loss ratio and 97% net loss ratio, down from 94% and 98% in Q4 2021, respectively.
