Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited has appointed David Altmaier to its board of directors as a non-executive director, subject to regulatory approvals.

Altmaier was previously the commissioner of insurance for the state of Florida, leading the Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) between April 2016 and December 2022.
