HCI models ~25% decrease in loss expenses from December legislation: CFO Harmsworth

HCI CFO James Mark Harmsworth said the company expects the overall decrease in loss expenses due to the recent Florida legislation to be on the lower end of 25% to 40%.

Speaking to analysts, the executive said: “Because 15% to 20% of our total claims are AoB claims, we expect claims to drop by a similar percentage.”
