Fitch revises SiriusPoint rating outlook to stable from negative

Fitch Ratings has revised SiriusPoint’s rating outlook from negative to stable and affirmed its BBB long-term issuer default rating, its BBB- senior debt rating and the 'A-' insurer financial strength rating for the carrier and its operating subsidiaries.

The revision reflects SiriusPoint’s recent improvement in underwriting performance. The ratings agency attributed this to a revamped management team, including former RSA executive Scott Egan stepping in as CEO following the sudden exit of Sid Sankaran in May.
