Bermuda can preserve its attractiveness despite G7 tax accord: ABIR chair Albo

The G7 tax accord, if implemented, will “certainly have an effect” on Bermuda that may require revisiting its local tax regime to ensure that the Island remains a “thriving marketplace” for (re)insurance, according to Pina Albo, Hamilton Insurance Group CEO and chairperson of the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR).

She was speaking to Inside P&C on the heels of her appointment to the organization’s chairmanship for a two-year term since January, a position she took over from Arch CEO Marc Grandisson.
