US InsurTech Capitola, a digital market that connects brokers with carriers using AI for risk-appetite matching, has secured more than $15mn in a Series A funding round.

Capitola has raised $15.6mn in a round led by Munich Re Ventures, amassing a war chest that will be used to develop the platform’s market intelligence capabilities and accelerate sales in the US.
