RLI’s hurricane rates increased 47% in Q1: COO Klobnak

RLI COO Jen Klobnak said that hurricane rates rose 47% in the first quarter, which marked another quarter of quarterly double-digit rate increases going back to Q4 2019.

On a call with analysts, the executive added that the headline continues to be the Southeast property market. Meanwhile, rates in the property segment increased 24% overall in the quarter.
