Lions Gate Underwriting (LGU) has appointed Excess Underwriting’s Robbin Botnick as managing director and head of corporate development.

Based in Toronto, the executive will report to Brian Gomes, president of LGU Canada.

In her new role, Botnick will use her knowledge of Lloyd’s and the Canadian domestic market to expand LGU’s footprint across Canada, the company said.
