AFG CEO: CRS to generate $30mn NWP, negatively impact core EPS in 2023

American Financial Group (AFG) co-CEO Carl Lindner said that the Crop Risk Services (CRS) acquisition will generate around $30mn in net written premiums for AFG in 2023 post-close, while negatively impacting the year’s core EPS “by a few cents”.

On a call with analysts, the co-CEO added that in 2024, the carrier expects CRS to add approximately $0.20
