AJ Gallagher pays $97.6mn in First Ireland acquisition

Acquisitive broker AJ Gallagher has paid a total consideration of $97.6mn in the takeover of Dublin-based retailer First Ireland Risk Management.

The Illinois-based intermediary paid $86.4mn in cash and recorded an earnout payable of $5.9mn for the deal in Q1, according to filings with the SEC.
