Outgoing Howden Tiger legacy chief Linda Johnson is set to join Gallagher Re, where she will focus on the production of large-account reinsurance business in the US, this publication understands.

Sources said Johnson will work in the office of North America chairman Thomas Wafer, looking to achieve growth in the large-account area, where Gallagher Re is currently underweight compared with rivals Aon and Guy Carpenter.
