RenaissanceRe has priced its offer of 6,300,000 common shares at $192.00 per share, ahead of an expected closing on 26 May.

The Bermudian carrier plans to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund part of the $2.7bn cash consideration it will pay to acquire Validus, as announced earlier this week.
