Kin Insurance has placed an $860mn reinsurance program, which provides protection up to a one-in-200-year first-event loss.

The placement follows the InsurTech’s second catastrophe bond issuance last month with Hestia Re, in which Kin placed $100mn of named storm personal lines limit for Florida.
