Talanx has agreed to purchase several Liberty Mutual entities in Latin America, boosting HDI International to become the third-largest P&C insurer in the region.

The retail international division of Talanx has signed a purchase agreement to buy the Liberty Seguros personal and small commercial business in Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador for EUR1.38bn
