Amwins has hired Larry Goanos as an executive vice president in its financial lines practice.

Goanos will be tasked with product development, claims advocacy, policy comparisons and insurance broker training.

He was previously CEO at consulting firm Andros Risk Services and has written two books on D&O insurance.
