TSR raises pre-season hurricane forecast to close to 30-year norm

Tropical Storm Risk (TSR) has raised its pre-season North Atlantic hurricane forecast, predicting 2023 activity will be close to the 30-year norm between 1991 and 2020.

In May, TSR predicted the 2023 hurricane season would see below-normal activity, estimating a 25% drop below the 30-year norm.
