Some Central American insurers and financial groups have inquired about Sura’s business in El Salvador, as the Colombian carrier explores the sale of certain international units, this publication has learned.

Sources said Sura’s Salvadorean business has drawn the interest of ASSA and Ficohsa, two of the largest insurers in the region.
