Kemper pegs Q2 net loss at $95mn-$105mn, cat losses at $39mn

Auto insurer Kemper has estimated its Q2 2023 net loss at between $95mn-$105mn, with pre-tax cat losses for the quarter pegged at approximately $39mn.

The company estimates a net operating loss in the range of $15mn-$25mn, according to a preliminary earnings release.

In addition, Kemper expects to record an after-tax goodwill impairment charge of approximately $45.5mn
