‘No evidence’ of market softening with capital constrained: Fidelis’ Burrows

There is “no evidence” of market softening in the (re)insurance space thanks to a lack of new capital entering the market, according to Fidelis Insurance Group CEO Daniel Burrows.

The executive said that sectoral issues around climate change, casualty deterioration, social inflation and geopolitical conflict continued to serve as “drivers of a hard market”, preventing a major capital influx.
