AIG appoints Fato to new role of vice chair

AIG has announced that Lucy Fato, current executive vice president, general counsel and global head of communications and government affairs, will become vice chair of the company.

Fato will take up the newly created role on 1 October and report to chairman and CEO Peter Zaffino.
