Former Tower Hill president Don Matz and Cabrillo CEO Michael McNitt are launching a start-up in Florida named Orange Insurance Exchange to write homeowners’, condo owners and commercial residential insurance, this publication understands.

Matz confirmed that the reciprocal exchange received a consent order on Friday and is expected to begin underwriting in December.
